Hi, and welcome!

We are a women-led organization in Winnipeg, Manitoba that began in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. It didn’t seem like the most likely time to start an organization like this, but we also know that sometimes easy and convenient aren’t when God works. And so despite the situation surrounding us, we decided to go ahead and kick off our groups in September of 2020. We did a lot of virtual meetings our first year and now are meeting in person. 

We started our group for several reasons.

• To empower women in their Christian faith and to encourage them to be active participants in their faith life through sharing their experiences of God in an authentic way.

• To bring together women from different churches, church backgrounds, or women who are not currently part of a church group.

• To connect women of all ages in order to mentor each other, learn from each other and feel encouraged by women in different stages of life.

And so with all of these things in mind we created Cultivate, which exists to see all women courageously live out their faith through empowerment, connection and mentorship.
